In its latest iteration, the GTCC has expanded its scope and ambition.

The tournament now unfolds across three exhilarating seasons throughout the year.

 

The Summer Showdown in June, the August Arena, and the climactic Grand Finale in November.

 

The GTCC’s primary objective is to elevate Tongits from a beloved pastime to a nationwide entertainment phenomenon.

 

By doing so, it aims to foster community engagement and drive market growth in the gaming sector. 

 

Breakdown of GTCC prizes

 

The GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup (GTCC) has unveiled an impressive ₱10,000,000 prize pool.

 

Demonstrating the GameZone casino’s commitment to rewarding skill and promoting competitive excellence in the world of table gaming.

 

This substantial sum is strategically divided across nine levels. 

 

It ensures that a wide range of participants can benefit from their performance in the tournament.

 

At the apex of the prize structure stands the grand champion, who will claim an extraordinary ₱5,000,000—precisely half of the entire prize pool. 

 

GTCC GameZone

 

The runner-up doesn’t leave empty-handed either, walking away with a commendable ₱1,000,000.

 

This substantial prize ensures that the fight for the top two positions will be fiercely competitive. 

 

With the difference between first and second place is a staggering ₱4,000,000.

 

Even the third-place finisher is handsomely rewarded with ₱488,000. 

 

A testament to the tournament’s generosity and recognition of top-tier talent.

 

Beyond the podium finishers, the GameZone casino GTCC extends its rewards to a broader group of skilled players through group prizes.

 

The semifinalists, those placing 4th to 9th, each receive ₱168,000.

 

Players finishing 10th to 18th are awarded ₱98,000 each, while those in the 19th to 27th positions take home ₱70,000.

 

The prize structure continues to reward players deep down in the rankings.

 

Participants placing 24th to 37th earn ₱38,000 each, while those finishing 38th to 47th receive ₱27,900.

 

GameZone recognized the effort of those ranking 48th to 63rd with a ₱9,000 prize.

 

5 days of intense Tongits action

 

The upcoming tournament promises an exhilarating five-day event, kicking off with an opening ceremony on Day 1.

 

A total of 135 participants will be randomly sorted into three equal groups of 45: A, B, and C.

 

Day 2 marks the beginning of intense competition.

 

Players will engage in three 20-round games, with rankings determined by total points accumulated.

 

The top-performing 63 players will advance to Day 3’s Promotional Round, which consists of two challenging phases.

 

In the first phase of Day 3, the 63 qualifiers will be randomly distributed into 21 groups.

 

Following this, the top 12 performances will progress to the upper bracket.

 

Meanwhile the remaining 51 will compete in the lower bracket.

 

The second phase will further whittle down the competition, leaving just nine players to advance to the semifinals on Day 4.

 

Then, the semi-finals will feature an intriguing mix of five players from the upper bracket and four from the lower bracket.

 

These nine semi-finalists will battle through a grueling 60-round group phase.

 

The only three emerging victorious to claim their spots in the final.

 

Day 5 sets the stage for the ultimate Tongits card game showdown.

 

The three finalists, having proven their mettle through days of intense competition, will face off in a marathon 100-round match.
