June 11 to 15 may have created the highlights from GTCC tournament but before that, how are all the players selected in GTCC?

They came from a pool of GameZone Tongits players all across the country as the tournament is open for all as long as qualified users of the platform.
The journey of 93 GTCC players
The 93 players selected for the GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup are seasoned veterans of the Tongits game.
The competition opened their stage for any GameZone players interested in joining the Filipino card battle.
The first stage they had to go through was the Tongits Free Multi-Table Tournament.
This is a GameZone exclusive daily and no charge competition that introduces stages with different prizes after punching your slot in the leaderboard.
In Tongits MTT, players have attained Online Finals Tickets that will be used to qualify in the next event.
For the GTCC: Summer Showdown, the timeline adequate for players was from April 25 to May 23.

After the four week long qualifying round, ticket holders participated in Online Finals that ran from May 23 to 25.
The 3-day qualifiers served as the players gateway to the official GTCC tournament.
Following the rigorous 42 games, 93 players edged their status and proved their capability to move on to the tournament.
The countdown to the crowning
The formal GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup: Summer Showdown ran from June 11 to June 15.
Moving on the timeline itself, June 11 or Day 1 of the competition served as the registration and opening ceremony of the GTCC.
After this, the official Tongits battle began on Day 2 as the Knockout round started.
This stage opened up 93 qualified players but ended with nine being eliminated.
The remaining 84 will move on to Day 3.
Day 3 opened with a twist as GameZone introduces Upper and Lower Bracket.
The players were ranked depending on the scores attained from the previous round.
From this selection, 9 players will progress to the semifinals: 5 coming from the upper brackets while only 4 from the later group.
The Semifinals happened on June 14 or Day 4 of the competition.
The nine players slugged it out to edge their names in the Finals wherein only three slots were open.
Lastly, what better way to end the tournament than the Finals on the last day of competition.
The three finalists hang their hats to try and replace it with a crown and receive a bountiful reward.

While the Summer Showdown of the GTCC remained to be the grandest Tongits tournament the country has ever seen, GameZone still had surprises in their pockets.
