To enter, players must qualify through the Tongits Free Multi-Table Tournament, running from April 25 to May 16.

You need to equip yourself with the necessary knowledge to battle it out against the best of the best.

Then you need to be able to know the format of the competition.

Group Phase

To understand the GameZone tournament format, let’s break down how players advance through each round.

After the initial player registration and opening ceremony, the 135 participants will be divided randomly into three distinct groups: A, B, and C.

Each group will consist of 45 players, creating a balanced competition.

The elimination round will then commence, consisting of three separate matches.

Each match will span 20 rounds, giving players ample opportunity to accumulate points and demonstrate their skill.

Following each match, the players will be ranked based on the number of chips they have remaining.

Then, the top 63 players with the highest total points will advance to the Promotional Round.

GameZone tailored the promotional round with these 63 remaining being assigned into 21 new groups.

The tournament divided this round into two phases, each comprising 60 rounds.

At the end of the promotional round, the top 12 players with the highest chip counts will be placed in the 4-group upper bracket.

The tournament officials will place the remaining 51 players in the lower bracket and divide them into 17 groups.

After the second phase, only the nine remains for the semis.

Top five players from the upper bracket and the top four players from the lower bracket will move on.

At this point, you are only one stage away from the finals.

GTCC Semifinals

The GTCC will split the nine semifinalists into three groups of three players each.

The semifinals will span 60 rounds, allowing players to showcase their skills and strategy.

At the end of this stage, the player in each group with the highest remaining chip count will earn a spot in the finals round.

GTCC Finals

The final round will consist of 100 rounds in total.

Eventually the champion, runner-up, and third-place positions will be decided based on the remaining chips.

If there is a tie in the rankings, the winner will be determined using several tie-breaking criteria to ensure a clear and fair outcome.

Altogether each have a remarkable story that reflects the intensity, unpredictability, and prestige of the competition.

“I feel grateful, blessed, and thankful dahil hindi ko talaga in-expect na mananalo ako.

Napaka-close ng laban, pero sabi ko na lang, through Christ our Lord, everything is possible.

Habang may buhay, may pag-asa—kaya laban lang! ” Austria shared.
