Format Breakdown
The tournament’s structure was designed to test every skill set imaginable in Tongits.
Once the 135 finalists were confirmed, they were divided into three groups of 45 (Groups A, B, and C).
Each group entered a grueling elimination stage consisting of three 20-round games,
Where only the most consistent players could hope to survive.
Following the elimination round, 84 players advanced to the Promotional Round—but the challenges were far from over.
This round was split into two distinct phases:
Phase 1 – Group Stage Showdowns
The 84 remaining players were redistributed into 28 three-player groups, with each match offering a fresh test of skill.
While performance in this round didn’t directly determine semifinal placement, it heavily influenced which bracket each player would land in.
Phase 2 – Bracket Determination
- The top 30 players were seeded into the Upper Bracket, a competitive tier where the best of the best fought for top slots.
- The remaining 54 were placed into the Lower Bracket, where redemption was still within reach, but the path was far tougher.
Only 9 players total could advance to the Semifinals: 5 from the Upper Bracket and 4 from the Lower Bracket.
Each had proven their skill, but only a few would make it to the very top.

In the end, only three emerged as the true champions of GTCC.
